Bitcoin & Ethereum Diverge—ETF Flows Just Flipped The Narrative 📈
Data reveals a cooling of Bitcoin ETF demand, contrasting with Ethereum's continued inflows. Glassnode reports on the shifting dynamics of US spot ETFs for these cryptocurrencies. While Ethereum ETFs saw four straight weeks of net inflows, totaling 97,800 ETH, they remain below February’s peak with 3.77 million ETH.
Bitcoin, however, surpassed its February peak last month but encountered net outflows this past week, marking its first negative week in eight. This leaves Bitcoin ETF holdings at 1.20 million BTC, down approximately 11.5K BTC.
The divergence raises questions about future trends for both cryptocurrencies, as Bitcoin sees a 2% price recovery. This evolving scenario continues to unfold.
